Approach Personnel are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee a fast-paced project at RAF Marham. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile MOD project within a secure and professional environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme deadlines while coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily site operations, logistics, and subcontractor coordination
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, RAMS, and MOD/RAF site protocols
  • Monitor project progress, programme milestones, and site performance
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, snagging, and project handover documentation
  • Liaise effectively with clients, RAF representatives, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Manage permits to work, security procedures, and environmental controls on site
  • Ensure works are completed safely, on schedule, and to specification

Essential Requirements

  • Valid SMSTS certification
  • Valid First Aid at Work certificate
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction, fit-out, or civils projects
  • Previous MOD, RAF, or high-security site experience is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of CDM regulations, Health & Safety legislation, and quality standards

Security Clearance

Due to the nature of the project and location, security clearance is required. We are looking to appoint immediately in order to begin the clearance process ahead of the project start date.
