Approach Personnel are currently seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to support a live construction project on a care centre development in Bangor, North Wales. The successful candidate will initially be required for one day to set out the positions for a king post wall installation, with work ideally commencing on 17th June 2026. Following this, there will be a requirement for approximately 10 additional days of attendance to support the ongoing installation works.
Responsibilities
- Setting out king post wall positions in accordance with project drawings and specifications
- Ensuring all setting out is accurate and completed to the required tolerances
- Liaising with the site team to ensure works are delivered efficiently
- Providing technical support and resolving any setting out issues on site
- Maintaining accurate records of setting out activities
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Setting Out Engineer on construction or civil engineering projects
- Proficient in the use of surveying and setting out equipment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Valid CSCS card (desirable)
- Own equipment preferred (please advise availability)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
