Are you a confident communicator who enjoys being out and about rather than stuck behind a desk? Approach Personnel are recruiting a Resident Liaison Officer for a temporary position supporting fire protection works across Leeds. This is a fully field-based role; you’ll spend around 95% of your time out in the community, visiting residents, delivering information and arranging access for contractors. A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle are mandatory, as you’ll be covering a 15-mile radius around Leeds city centre.
THE ROLE
You’ll act as the key point of contact between the project team and local residents, ensuring people are informed, heard and supported throughout the works.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Visiting residents door-to-door to explain upcoming fire protection works
- Delivering letters, notices and appointment cards to properties
- Collecting resident feedback, concerns and access preferences
- Booking and confirming appointments for surveys and contractor visits
- Logging all resident interactions and reporting back to the project team
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Experience in customer service, housing, or community engagement (desirable)
