We are looking for an experienced Joinery Workshop Manager to take a key position within the management team of a busy and growing joinery business. This is much more than simply managing the workshop. You will play an important role in the wider business, taking ownership of production, managing client expectations and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality. Key Responsibilities * Take a key role within the senior management team * Manage the day-to-day running of the joinery workshop * Lead, motivate and manage the workshop team * Manage client expectations throughout the production process * Provide clients with clear updates on progress and timescales * Plan workloads and ensure project deadlines are achieved * Work closely with clients, project managers and the wider management team * Read and interpret drawings and project specifications * Monitor quality, productivity and workshop performance * Resolve production or project issues quickly and professionally * Ensure materials and resources are available when required * Maintain high health & safety standards * Help improve processes, productivity and the overall performance of the business About You * Strong background within joinery or bespoke joinery manufacturing * Previous workshop management or senior supervisory experience * Confident dealing directly with clients * Strong leadership and people-management skills * Commercially aware with a good understanding of project deadlines and costs * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities * Someone who wants to become a key part of the management team and wider business This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced joinery professional looking for a position where they can have a genuine influence on how the workshop and wider business operates
