We’re recruiting on behalf of a reputable contractor for an experienced Site Manager to oversee civils and groundworks works on a project based in Nottingham. This is a short-term role, ideal for a Site Manager who can hit the ground running and confidently manage groundworks packages from day one.
Role Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day site operations for civils / groundworks works
- Overseeing subcontractors and direct labour
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to spec
- Coordinating with the client, engineers, and suppliers
- Maintaining site paperwork, RAMS, and progress reports
- Enforcing health & safety standards at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within civils / groundworks
- Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, and general civils works
- SMSTS
- CSCS card
- First Aid at Work
- Ability to manage programme and labour effectively
