Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor, who has experience working on social housing projects? Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with a regional, growing Joinery & Build contractor, who are currently looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis out of their office in Nottingham. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee the vast majority of the companies projects whilst they grow ensuring commercial success on a continuous basis.

What are we looking for?
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a build construction company
- Desirably, a degree in Quantity Surveying
- A strong understanding of cost management and sub-contractor procurement.
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Assess contract risk and work with the site team to develop and manage mitigation plans
- Review all contract documents to ensure the business is protected at all times.
- Manage all commercial aspects related to the contracts.
- Ensure that all group commercial policies are being adhered to and that all legislations are being met.
- Manage our established list of supply chain sub-contractors.
