Role Purpose
To provide efficient and professional secretarial and administrative support to the Wills & Probate team, helping to ensure client matters are handled accurately and sensitively. You will support with day to day management of wills, probate and estate administration matters, preparing legal documents and correspondence, maintaining accurate files and liaising with clients and third parties.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Wills & Probate team
- Prepare and format legal documents, letters and correspondence
- Assist with Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney and estate administration matters
- Manage diaries, appointments and meetings for solicitors
- Open, maintain and close client files accurately
- Liaise with clients, beneficiaries and third parties by telephone and email
- Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Prepare documents for client meetings and appointments
- Carry out audio and copy typing as required
- Maintain accurate records on the case management system
- Deal with incoming and outgoing post and emails
- Assist with billing and general administrative duties
- Ensure deadlines are monitored and work is completed promptly
- Provide a professional and compassionate service to clients at all times

- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Strong communication and client service skills
