Labourer / Multi-Skilled Operative - Carpentry Experience
We are currently looking for an experienced Labourer / Multi-Skilled Operative with carpentry/chippy experience to join a 10-12 week temporary project working within an existing live care home.
This is a hands-on role, primarily involving general labouring and assisting trades on site, with some basic carpentry duties as and when required.
The Role
- General hands-on labouring duties
- Assisting trades and site management
- Moving materials and keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Basic carpentry/chippy works where required
- Helping with deliveries and general site requirements
- Working safely and professionally within a live care home environment
- Being mindful and respectful of residents, staff and visitors at all times
Requirements
- Previous construction/site experience essential
- Carpentry/chippy experience preferred
- Valid CSCS card
- Own PPE
- Reliable, hardworking and comfortable getting stuck into general labouring
- Good communication and a professional attitude are essential due to the live care home environment
- References will be required
