Role Purpose

This would be the perfect opportunity for someone with a strong background in hands-on care who is looking to step away from a fully frontline position and move into a more office-based, management-focused role. You will manage and oversee care packages, support and guide field-based care teams, maintain high standards of quality and compliance, and build strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Working closely with the Office Manager, you will use your practical care experience to support the smooth running and growth of the service, while still maintaining some contact with clients and care teams.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the Branch Manager with the day-to-day running of the service
  • Provide support and guidance to office and field-based care staff
  • Manage staff queries, concerns, and day-to-day issues
  • Create and maintain rotas for care packages
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Visit clients when required to review and discuss their care packages
  • Set up and manage new and existing care packages
  • Ensure each care package has suitably skilled and experienced staff in place
  • Work alongside the recruitment team to support staffing requirements
  • Build strong relationships with Case Managers, Solicitors, Social Workers, and other professionals
  • Support the growth of the business by developing existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities
  • Ensure all care packages meet CQC requirements and company standards
  • Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Work towards business development, quality, staffing, recruitment, and retention KPIs

Skills Required

  • Previous experience within the care or support sector
  • Good understanding of CQC standards and care compliance
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confident managing and supporting care staff
  • Experience managing care packages and rotas
  • Able to deal professionally with clients, families, and external professionals
  • Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving license
  • Flexibility to participate in an on-call rota
