Electrical / Fire Alarm Foreman β Leeds

We are currently recruiting an experienced Electrical / Fire Alarm Foreman for a well-established project across Leeds, working on multiple residential properties.
- Location: Leeds (travel across the Leeds borough required)
- Start Date: Monday 26th January
- Duration: 3 months initially, with strong potential for extension
- Driving Licence: Essential
Role Overview
Working on behalf of our client, you will be responsible for overseeing fire alarm installations carried out by sub-contractors across multiple properties. This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring both technical knowledge and strong site management skills.
The site manager will be travelling between sites alongside the sub-contractor. Once an installation is completed, you will be responsible for inspecting and signing off the work before the sub-contractor leaves the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and review the quality of fire alarm installations
- Sign off BS 5839 Part 6 fire alarm installations
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and submitted to the Project Manager in a timely manner
- Supervise sub-contractors across multiple sites
- Step onto the tools when required
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance
Essential Requirements
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- First Aid Certificate
- Strong working knowledge of BS 5839 (essential)
- Proven experience overseeing fire alarm installations
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites
