Our client is seeking a Permanent Lead Driller to join their team based in Nottingham, focusing on Site & Ground Investigation projects. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful execution of these projects, working closely with the nominated Project Manager. As a predominantly site-based position, you will be responsible for the collection and collation of site information necessary for reporting purposes. Furthermore, you will assist in delivering safety-critical duties on railway infrastructure while ensuring the safety and compliance standards are upheld at all times.
Experience in a similar role is essential.
- Flexible working hours, including the possibility of night shifts and weekends.
- Ability to stay away from home when required.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
- CSCS Certification.
- NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling.
- Hold relevant non-rail competencies as needed for SI/GI work (training provided).
- Possession of a Rail Sentinel Card (training provided).
- Safety critical competencies such as PTS, PO, LXA, LEA, HSM, IWA, PAM, COSS (training provided).
