What Will You Do?
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime and ensuring the smooth running of the site. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) systems across both mechanical plant and electrical equipment.
- Leading breakdown maintenance, including complex fault finding on industrial and process control systems.
- Maintaining DC motors, associated drives, and process control equipment.
- Executing electrical and mechanical installation work and repairs on industrial recycling plant and machinery.
What Do We Need?
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong blend of electrical and mechanical skills, alongside:
- Experience of working within an industrial environment on large machines, plant and equipment.
- A recognised Electrical / Mechanical maintenance apprenticeship or training scheme qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).
- Proven experience in both mechanical and electrical installation and maintenance within an industrial environment.
- The ability to understand and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Previous hands-on experience with the maintenance and repair of PLC systems. You don’t need to be a PLC programmer but know your way around these systems.
- A full UK driving license.
