Our client is a leading facilities management provider, and we are supporting them in the recruitment of a Multiskilled HVAC/Plumbing Engineer to join their engineering team. This role offers a mix of reactive and planned maintenance across a busy, modern site, with the opportunity to support neighbouring locations when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical remedial works across a range of M&E building services.
- Attend site to diagnose and rectify mechanical/HVAC-related faults.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with the client’s schedules and industry standards.
- Ensure all PPM and reactive tasks are completed to a high, professional standard.
- Produce accurate technical and situational reports when required.
- Utilise the client’s CAFM/technology systems to maintain compliance and accurate records.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with on-site teams and client representatives.
- Attend team briefings and meetings as required by the client.
- Uphold the client’s professional image at all times.
- Escalate any major issues or incidents to the relevant manager promptly.
- Work safely and in compliance with all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in HVAC and plumbing within a facilities, building services, or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Confident working independently across a busy, fast-paced site.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
- Strong understanding of PPM practices and compliance requirements.
