Permanent Construction Project Manager – Retrofit Works in Bristol. We are a construction recruitment agency working on behalf of a well-established contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their Bristol-based team on a permanent basis, with a strong focus on retrofit and refurbishment projects.
This role is ideal for a Project Manager with a passion for improving existing buildings, sustainability, and delivering high-quality retrofit schemes across residential and mixed-use portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing retrofit and refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Overseeing programmes, budgets, and quality standards
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and consultants
- Ensuring full compliance with health & safety and building regulations
- Managing client relationships and reporting on project progress
- Driving efficient, sustainable construction methods
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction
- Strong background in retrofit, refurbishment, or renovation works
- Excellent understanding of building fabric upgrades, M&E improvements, and energy-efficiency measures
- SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant construction qualifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
