Approach Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing business delivering gas infrastructure projects across the SGN network. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background within utilities or gas infrastructure who enjoys overseeing multiple live projects, supporting operational teams, and driving project delivery from pre-start through to completion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing GD3 works across the SGN scope while overseeing approximately 3-4 Site Managers across several live sites. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and client expectations.
The Role Will Involve:
- Managing multiple gas infrastructure projects across the SGN network
- Overseeing GD3 works delivery within SGN scope
- Supporting and managing Site Managers across multiple live sites
- Monitoring project progress, budgets, and delivery programmes
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and industry regulations
- Managing client relationships, reporting, and stakeholder communication
- Coordinating labour, subcontractors, and operational resources
- Driving overall project performance, quality, and delivery standards
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience working as a Project Manager within utilities, gas, or infrastructure projects
- SCO Registration
- NCO1 experience essential
- Strong operational leadership and project delivery experience
- Experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
