Maintenance and Repair Lead – Smart Technology Sector (UK)

As the company expands its footprint across the UK, we are looking for a Maintenance and Repair Lead to take charge of field operations and ensure technical service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and technical repairs on smart locker systems to ensure they operate smoothly and reliably.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues , offering both in-person and remote support.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage .
• Conduct pre-installation technical site visits to evaluate location suitability and potential adaptations.
• Design and manage preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend product lifespan.
• Identify and train external maintenance vendors within the UK, ensuring they meet service level agreements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients on proper equipment usage and maintenance.
• Help define and document maintenance protocols and best practices .

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, technical field service, or support—preferably with hardware or connected tech products.
• Technical diploma or vocational training in a relevant field.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting related to maintenance operations.
• Strong communication skills in English .
• Experience managing contractors and external vendors .
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to work independently, with flexibility for travel within the UK.
