We're looking for a Principal/Lead Data Engineer with strong AWS data platform expertise to lead the design and implementation of metadata-driven data solutions and AI/ML-ready architectures.
Key Skills:
- 7+ years of hands-on AWS Data Engineering experience
- Strong expertise in S3, S3 Tables, Glue, Athena, and OpenSearch
- Experience with Vector Search (k-NN), Embeddings, and Amazon Bedrock
- Metadata Modeling, Taxonomy Design, and Data Cataloging
- Python, PySpark, Glue Job Optimization
- Experience with Parquet, JSON-LD, and large-scale scientific/engineering datasets
- Strong architecture and technical leadership capabilities
Nice to Have:
- Simulation/CAE/HPC data lake experience (Ansys, Siemens NX, OpenFOAM, etc.)
- SageMaker, Data Mesh, or Multi-Cloud (AWS/GCP) exposure
