WHO WE ARE

Apprentify Group is a portfolio of six companies, each with its own culture, personality and people. Across the group, we support around 10,000 learners a year and we're scaling fast. Growth like that only works if the curriculum behind it keeps pace. If you believe IT, networking and cyber training can be genuinely engaging and that good curriculum design is as much about people as it is content, read on.

TEAM & CULTURE

You'll join the Curriculum team: pragmatic, business-focused people who'd rather find the right material and adapt it well than build everything from scratch for the sake of it.

Reports to: Group Head of Curriculum

Management style: Clear expectations, genuine autonomy over how you get there. Mistakes are fine as long as you own them and learn from them.

What we value:

  • Curiosity over perfection
  • Progress over polish
  • People who take ownership without being asked

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO

Youโ€™ll own and manage Apprentifyโ€™s infrastructure curriculum portfolio. This means designing and improving curriculum content, jumping into sales calls as an SME, supporting trainers and coaches, keeping your finger on the pulse of what is working and leading calls with employers. This is a high-impact role where no two days are the same and your work makes a huge difference to your colleagues, our learners and the workforce of tomorrow.

Core responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Leadership: Design, develop and improve infrastructure curricula across apprenticeships, Adult Skills Fund provision, Skills Bootcamps, Free Courses for Jobs provision and commercial short courses. Ensure curricula meet Skills England occupational standards, Apprenticeship Assessment requirements, funding rules and awarding body expectations. Keep curricula aligned to current industry practice, including IT support, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, AI-enabled support and infrastructure automation. Work with internal departments to align curricula with business strategy, employer demand and funding frameworks.
  • Sales Enablement: Act as the curriculum lead for infrastructure provision in sales conversations, employer proposals and bids. Support Sales and Marketing to ensure infrastructure provision is accurately represented in promotional materials and employer-facing content. Contribute to programme guides, curriculum summaries, employer briefings and proposal content.
  • Trainer and Development Coach Support: Support trainers and Development Coaches to understand curriculum intent, sequencing, learning outcomes, evidence expectations and Apprenticeship Assessment preparation. Contribute to curriculum-focused observations, feedback and improvement planning where required. Identify CPD needs linked to curriculum delivery, technical currency, assessment preparation or platform use.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure curricula and supporting materials meet Ofsted, Department for Education, awarding body and internal quality requirements. Lead curriculum standardisation and moderation activity across infrastructure provision. Ensure curriculum documentation is audit-ready, well organised and version controlled.
  • Advisory Groups and Stakeholder Engagement: Lead monthly internal infrastructure curriculum advisory meetings with relevant stakeholders. Support quarterly external curriculum advisory groups with employers, industry partners, Apprenticeship Assessment organisations and awarding bodies where appropriate. Act as the subject matter expert for infrastructure apprenticeships, funded provision and commercial short courses.

The environment

We work remote-first. You won't be micromanaged, but you will be expected to own your curriculum area from day one. Apprentify is a scale-up; processes are still being built and things evolve quickly. The people who thrive here see that as an opportunity, not a problem.

The honest hard bit: You'll be responsible for a genuinely varied portfolio. Some of what you inherit is still delivered as straight lecturing and you'll need to bring fresh energy and digital thinking to it, fast and largely on your own. If you can handle that, you'll love it here.

โœ… Is this for you? This is for you if:

  • You have experience in curriculum design and delivery within infrastructure, IT support, networking or wider digital funded training.
  • You have a strong understanding of apprenticeship standards, Apprenticeship Assessment requirements and short-course provision.
  • You have experience supporting trainers, Development Coaches, assessors or delivery staff through curriculum guidance, standardisation or CPD activity.
  • You're confident enough in your subject matter to lead advisory meetings, support trainers and coaches.
  • You have experience contributing to internal or external curriculum advisory groups, standardisation activity or employer-led curriculum review.
  • You have the ability to produce clear curriculum documentation, employer-facing materials and sales enablement content.
  • You are comfortable taking ownership and getting stuck right in with minimal hand-holding.

BONUS: Any teaching qualifications (PGCE, CertEd, Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent) Assessor qualification, such as CAVA, A1 or equivalent. Familiarity with infrastructure-related vendor content, certifications or digital learning materials from Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft or Google. Experience designing curricula that incorporate emerging technologies, including AI, cloud, cybersecurity and automation.
