Our client is a global, high-growth logistics and technology group operating an international franchise network across Europe, Africa and beyond. Blending elements of SaaS, logistics and franchising, the business is in an active phase of expansion, bringing new franchise partners and acquisitions into the group. They are now looking for an experienced, senior finance leader to take ownership of accounting and finance across their EMEA operations. A genuinely autonomous, high-impact leadership role reporting into the Global VP of Accounting & Treasury (US-based).
The Role
You’ll take full end-to-end responsibility for accounting, FP&A and treasury across approximately 10 entities spanning the UK, Germany, France, Netherlands and South Africa, overseeing an annual revenue base of c.£25-£30 million. With minimal day-to-day oversight from global leadership, you’ll operate with real autonomy leading a regional finance team, shaping process, and being the senior financial voice for the region at C-suite level.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of accounting, FP&A and treasury for the EMEA region
- Leading a team of circa 7, including UK-based accounting staff and in-country Finance Managers across Germany, France and South Africa
- Preparing and owning the annual budget process
- Overseeing statutory audits across the region
- Presenting monthly financial results to senior leadership
- Supporting the integration of new business acquisitions and partners into group finance processes
- Building out structured people leadership, coaching and development within the finance team
- Driving continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
What You’ll Need
Essential
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience leading and developing a finance team
- Experience presenting financial performance to senior stakeholders
- Experience leading or closely overseeing statutory audits
Desirable
- Experience with budgeting and cash flow forecasting
- Background in a franchise, SaaS, or logistics business model
