Following our Outstanding (Grade 1) achievement in 2022, we’re looking for a passionate Internal Quality Assurer to help us maintain and elevate our high standards.
What you’ll do- Lead internal quality assurance across apprenticeship programmes
- Conduct sampling, deep dives, interviews and curriculum QA
- Observe teaching, learning and assessment — providing developmental feedback
- Support Development Coaches through coaching, CPD and capability building
- Contribute to curriculum design, standardisation and quality improvement
- Ensure full compliance with AO and EPAO requirements
- Strong experience IQA’ing apprenticeship standards
- Background in delivering and assessing apprenticeships
- Confidence in observing teaching & learning
- A track record of raising standards and developing staff
- Solid understanding of Ofsted and the EIF
- Competence and experience IQA’ing within apprenticeship standards
- Experience of delivering Apprenticeship Standards and Assessing
- Experience in observations of teaching and learning
- Proven track record of raising standards of delivery, developing staff and leading visits
- Sound knowledge of Ofsted and the Education Inspection Framework
- Experience with Bud Systems, BKSB, CognAssist
- Functional Skills L2 in English, Maths and ICT

Outstanding Delivery- Delivers rigorous, timely and high‑impact IQA activity that improves teaching, learning and outcomes. Ensures sampling, observations and curriculum reviews exceed AO and EPAO expectations.
- Understands employer needs and organisational priorities. Uses IQA insights to enhance programme effectiveness, strengthen employer confidence and support growth across digital and tech sectors.
- Uses data, feedback and sector trends to drive meaningful improvements. Challenges existing practice and contributes to evolving quality frameworks and curriculum enhancements.
- Builds strong relationships across Delivery, Curriculum, Operations and Employer teams. Provides clear, evidence‑based guidance that uplifts capability and shapes decision‑making.
- Owns quality targets, monitors progress and acts quickly on risks. Drives improvements in timely completions, EPA readiness and learner/employer satisfaction.
- Role‑models Apprentify’s values — excellence, impact, innovation and inclusivity — and champions a learner‑centred approach.
Fixed term until January 2027
