LIFE IN THE ROLE

Following our Ofsted Outstanding achievement, your work ensures our learning experiences consistently perform at the absolute highest level. Here is what your days look like:

  • The morning alignment: You will kick off your day by reviewing our live Quality Improvement Plan, diving into Bud Systems to track learner progress, and prepping for a collaborative coaching session with our delivery teams.
  • The heart of the work: Most of your time is spent conducting timely desktop sampling, running deep dives across delivery areas and leading mock End-Point Assessments. This is not about ticking compliance boxes; it is about providing rich, developmental feedback to our Development Coaches to directly level up teaching and learning outcomes.

The environment: We operate in a remote-first, high-trust environment with regular collaboration days in our Wilmslow HQ. We value absolute professional ownership over micromanagement. You will have the autonomy to manage your own sampling plans and lead standardisation meetings, fully backed by an innovative team invested in your success.

TEAM & CULTURE

You are joining a forward-thinking, high-performance team dedicated to unlocking talent and accelerating digital transformation across the UK.

What we value:

  • Rigorous, high-impact quality assurance that exceeds Awarding Organisation and EPAO expectations
  • Commercial awareness: understanding how high-quality delivery protects our reputation and strengthens employer confidence
  • A solution-focused, collaborative approach that builds capability across our coaching teams

The atmosphere: We are a true culture carrier for excellence, innovation and inclusivity. We celebrate our wins as a business and handle setbacks by diving into data insights and learner feedback together, focusing on constructive, collective improvement.

The honest challenge: Maintaining Ofsted Outstanding standards in a fast-paced, ever-changing digital sector requires massive resilience, accuracy and a relentless focus on detail. If you prefer a slow-paced environment with low accountability, you will struggle here.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • IQA qualification (Level 4 IQA or equivalent)
  • Experience conducting IQA activity within apprenticeship standards
  • Direct experience delivering apprenticeship standards, assessing, and conducting teaching observations
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted and the Education Inspection Framework
  • Experience using ePortfolios (ideally Bud Systems), bksb, or CognAssist is a big plus
  • A background or interest in Data, Technical, or AI sectors is highly desirable

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive salary
  • 25 days annual leave (prorated to 7 months)
  • Private medical insurance
  • Your birthday off
  • Enhanced family leave policies and mental health support
  • Regular company-wide events and team socials

Note: As with all roles at Apprentify, Safer Recruitment checks will be required prior to employment.

IS THIS FOR YOU?

  • You are a proactive problem-solver who takes immediate ownership of quality targets
  • You can deliver robust, constructive oral and written feedback that uplifts others
  • You are genuinely passionate about creating spaces where apprentices can thrive

This is NOT for you if:

  • You prefer a rigid corporate setup where you wait for permission to make improvements
  • You are uncomfortable using data to identify delivery risks and taking swift action
  • You find a fast-moving, high-performance startup culture unsettling

READY TO JOIN THE MISSION? If you have the drive to maintain outstanding standards and reshape tech education, skip the cover letter. Send over your CV and a short note on what 'outstanding quality' means to you in apprenticeships.
