Data Trainer/Coach – Apprentify Group

Overview
Apprentify Group is a portfolio of six companies supporting around 10,000 learners a year. We look for a data trainer who can turn theory into real workplace capability, coaching apprentices to build confidence and commercial instinct from week one of the programme.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality group and one‑to‑one training sessions on data concepts.
- Provide constructive, developmental feedback to support learner progress and achievement.
- Manage the full apprentice journey, balancing compliance tracking with high‑quality coaching.
- Own results from day one, working autonomously within a fast‑moving, scale‑up environment.
- Translate technical data concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- Ensure learners meet End‑Point Assessment requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in data analytics, computer science, statistics/mathematics or an equivalent field.
- Proven experience delivering training, coaching or facilitation in professional or educational settings.
- Ability to give high‑quality developmental feedback that supports learner progress.
- Knowledge and confidence using digital tools and online learning platforms.
- Understanding of Safeguarding, Prevent and Equality & Diversity responsibilities.
- Track record of supporting learners to achieve higher‑level outcomes (merits, distinctions) at EPA.
Desired/ Nice to Have
- Industry‑recognised qualifications such as BCS Data Analyst, Microsoft Power BI / Azure Data, or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate.
- Knowledge of End‑Point Assessment processes for Data Technician Level3 and Data Analyst Level4.
- Understanding of Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework.
- Teaching, training or assessing qualification.
- Understanding of the use of AI in data analytics.
Contract & Working Conditions
- Full‑time, permanent contract.
- On‑site in Wilmslow, with occasional travel for team events or customer meetings.
