We are a privately run day nursery in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, seeking a qualified childcare professional or someone willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification. Our setting is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and all staff share this commitment. The successful candidate will hold a recognized Level 3 childcare qualification and be employed on a full or part-time basis.
Key duties include:
- Providing a caring, safe, and stimulating environment for children and babies.
- Recognizing signs of potential abuse and reporting concerns promptly.
- Supporting the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
- Assisting in all childcare activities.
- Maintaining high hygiene standards for children and staff.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Understanding and adhering to nursery policies and the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- Participating in staff meetings and training sessions.
