We are working with a growing manufacturing business based in Uttoxeter who are looking to add a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and expanding company offering a great work-life balance with a Monday–Friday days-based role.

The Role: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production machinery through both reactive and planned maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery
  • Respond to breakdowns and perform fault finding (electrical bias)
  • Work on a range of manufacturing equipment and systems
  • Support continuous improvement and reduce downtime
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards

About You:

  • Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ideally qualified (NVQ / City & Guilds / Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering)
  • 18th Edition (or equivalent) electrical qualification
  • Knowledge of PLCs would be advantageous
