Participate in the full product development lifecycle, from initial concept through to the final stages of design and manufacture.

Support the creation of manufacturing packs, including component drawings, assembly drawings, and work instructions using SolidWorks and Microsoft Office.

Conduct design testing and ensure designs meet quality standards.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient project delivery and meet deadlines.

Support the testing and validation of prototypes, modifying designs as needed.

At least 1 year of experience in hardware development, with hands-on experience using SolidWorks.

Familiarity with mechanical manufacturing processes such as sheet metal work, moulded components, bearings, drives, and machined parts.

Knowledge of electro-mechanical interfaces and off-the-shelf components.

Experience working with suppliers to understand manufacturing capabilities.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.

Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
