What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the day‑to‑day running of accounts payable and receivable
  • Processing invoices, payments, and cash transactions accurately
  • Maintaining supplier and customer account records
  • Handling finance‑related queries and resolving discrepancies
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations and cash allocation
  • Supporting month‑end activities including journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Helping prepare management reports and financial information
  • Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Working with finance systems and contributing to process improvements
  • Using Sage software and Excel for finance administration and reporting

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience within a finance, accounts, or bookkeeping position
  • AAT qualification, finance‑related degree, or studies towards ACCA/CIMA
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Experience using Sage software would be advantageous
