Our client is a Tier 2 main contractor who currently enjoys a turnover of £90 million, delivering primarily New Build projects around the UK. They predominantly operate within select business sectors including Logistics & Distribution, Multi-room & Commercial.
They generally deliver projects ranging in value from £5 million up to £25 million and negotiate the majority of their secured projects.
The Owners are keen to further develop and strengthen their Pre-Construction Team and due to the significant number of tenders coming through the door, they are actively looking to secure the services of a Freelance Estimator.
The Ideal Candidate will have experience of:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for New Build & Refurbishment projects across various sectors.
- Taking full ownership of tenders typically valued between £1m and £20m.
- Collaborating with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather accurate data.
- Developing robust pricing strategies and identifying commercial opportunities whilst reducing risk.
- Assisting in tendering processes by preparing competitive bids.
- Identifying potential cost saving opportunities.
