Location: Remote - 1 day per week site/office

Our client, an established earthworks contractor, is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team. This is an excellent opportunity offering predominantly remote working, with typically just one visit per week to site/office.

The Role:

  • Preparing competitive tenders for earthworks and civil engineering projects
  • Producing first-principles estimates for labour, plant and materials
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
  • Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations
  • Identifying risk, opportunities and value engineering solutions
  • Supporting tender adjudications and project handovers

About You:

  • Civil engineering contracting experience is essential
  • Strong estimating / first-principles pricing experience
  • Earthworks experience would be highly beneficial
  • Experience with Causeway would be advantageous
  • Good commercial and technical understanding of civil engineering projects
