Our state-of-the-art 48-bed Neuro Rehabilitation Centre in Leatherhead delivers expert care for individuals recovering from acquired brain injuries, strokes, incomplete spinal injuries, and neurological illnesses. We also provide long-term, complex care for individuals living with neurological conditions, combining personalised therapy with 24-hour nursing support. We are thrilled to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated and dynamic therapy team. About the Role At our modern 48-bed centre in Leatherhead, you’ll collaborate with a friendly and dynamic multi-disciplinary team, including nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, and physiotherapists, all focused on delivering the highest standard of care. As part of our expert SLT team, you will: Conduct specialised speech, language, and swallowing assessments for adults with communication and cognitive challenges. Deliver neurorehabilitation in a supportive residential setting, providing both individual and group interventions. Play a key role in stroke recovery pathways, offering rehabilitation services aligned with best practices and government guidelines. Work directly with out-patients, delivering transformative care and tailored advice. Design and develop SLT programs under the mentorship of senior Speech and Language Therapists. Provide invaluable guidance to clients, families, and staff in managing dysphagia. About You We are looking for a passionate and skilled professional who meets the following criteria: Qualifications: A degree or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy with HCPC registration. Membership: Active membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy (RCSLT).
