About the service:
We are delighted to be recruiting a Registered Nurse to be part of our private healthcare service in our bright and vibrant private hospital on the northeast coast of Kent. The hospital is situated in a beautiful scenic location and easy reach of Canterbury, Whitstable and Dover. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join their friendly ward team. The hospital offers a range of services including orthopaedics treatment/surgeries, aesthetic and cosmetics treatments, neuro, cardio, ENT, gastro, urology, ophthalmology, gynae vascular and general surgery.
About the role:
You will be working as a Registered Nurse on the ward as part of our nursing team and will be responsible for:
- Delivering the highest quality of pre and post op care to patients
- Working well as part of a supportive team, offering knowledge
- Assessing patient needs with enthusiasm and empathy
- Planning, implementing and evaluating care programs with clinical procedures
- Providing medication, injections, intravenous infusions, and female and male catheterisation
- Keeping patient medical records, up to date, and accurate and managing them on an IT System
Who we’re looking for:
- Be NMC registered RGN – with no restrictions or conditions
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- At least 1 years UK experience working in a hospital is essential
- Experience in an elective day case surgical/medical multi-disciplinary ward
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Good written, numerical, and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate using MS Office Suite and web based reporting systems
