Care Home Manager Location: Liverpool Service Type: Care Home – residential Salary: £65,000 Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Home Manager to join our dynamic and passionate team based in Liverpool. This is Home Manager role will be working in a large home and requires and experienced Manager who is used to working in services registered for over 80 beds. Responsibilities: Provide strong leadership and management to the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care are always maintained. Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and personal growth. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including those set by the CQC and take appropriate action to address any areas of improvement. Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders, promoting open communication and a person-centred approach to care. Manage the financial aspects of the nursing home, including budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control, while ensuring the provision of quality care remains uncompromised. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the nursing home, implementing necessary changes and improvements to enhance the overall quality of care and resident satisfaction. Requirements: Proven experience in managing a care home, with a strong track record of success in delivering high quality care In-depth knowledge and understanding of the regulatory framework Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, resource management, and cost control. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
