About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Theatre Nurse / ODP to join a fantastic Private Hospital in Tunbridge Wells. The hospital boasts excellent facilities including 2 operating theatres, a sterile services department, endoscopy suite, and a fully equipped diagnostic and imaging department. The hospital offers outpatient and physiotherapy departments providing services six days a week. This is a great opportunity for a motivated Theatre Nurse / ODP to join a friendly and experienced theatre team. The team is passionate about high-quality care and puts patients at the heart of everything they do, seeking a like-minded Theatre Nurse / ODP to join them.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist in scrubbing for consultant-led surgeries
- Scrub for a range of surgeries including Orthopaedics, General surgery, Gynaecology, ENT, Breast, and Ophthalmic
- Order and store specialised kits for surgeries
- Keep and update preference cards for surgeons
Who we’re looking for:
- Be NMC / HCPC registered – your pin must not have restrictions or conditions
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- At least 2 years UK experience as a Scrub Nurse / ODP
- Orthopaedic experience highly desirable
- ALS and Airway Maintenance certifications desirable
- Good team player
- Excellent communication skills
