About the role :
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and driven Theatre Nurse / ODP to join a highly reputable private hospital based on the outskirts of Luton. The hospital is situated between Luton and St Albans and is within easy reach of public transport links. This is an excellent opportunity for a Theatre Nurse / ODP to join their friendly theatre team focusing on orthopaedic scrub. The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Theatre Nurse / ODP to join them. The service boasts 5 state of the art Theatres, as well as modern surgical and day care wards. The hospital covers a range of services including major surgery, plastics and medical patients, orthopaedics, gynaecology and many more.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Scrub Nurse / ODP and will be responsible for :
- Assess patients health and well being across a complex and changing caseload
- Assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patients needs
- Scrub for a variety of procedures including orthopaedics
- Promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements
Who weβre looking for
- Be NMC (including anaesthetic module) or HCPC registered with no restrictions on practice
- Eligible to work in the UK
- At least 1 years UK experience in orthopaedic scrub is essential
- Experience working in teams with minimum supervision
- Competence across a range of skills
