About the role :A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a driven and motivated Theatre Nurse / ODP Practitioner to join a highly reputable private healthcare provider in South Kent. The hospital is situated in a beautiful location near Cranbrook and is a bright and modern service. The hospital has an excellent opportunity for a Theatre Nurse / Practitioner to join their friendly theatre team. The team are passionate about person‐centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like‐minded Theatre Nurse / ODP Practitioner to join them. They are proud to have achieved an OUTSTANDING rating on their recent CQC report. The service provides expert care from consultations, diagnosis, treatment and aftercare. The hospital covers a variety of surgical procedures ranging from General Surgery, ENT and Plastics. The hospital holds JAG accreditation for Endoscopy and ACSA accreditation for anaesthetics, and has great knowledge within multiple specialisms – anaesthetic, scrub, recovery and endoscopy practitioner.
Duties and responsibilitiesYou will be working as a Theatre Nurse / ODP Practitioner and will be responsible for :
Plan and prepare and facilitate theatre lists
Accurately enter patient information on IT systems
Ensure patient care areas are safe and fit for purpose
Maintain the safe custody of medications and controlled drugs
Who we\’re looking for
Be NMC / HCPC registered – your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
At least 1 years UK theatre experience
SFA qualification desirable
Scrub experience in a range of surgical specialities
Strong communication skills
Foster a culture of professionalism and a positive working team environment
