Summary
Appoint Healthcare are proud to partner with an extremely reputable independent provider of health and social care services for adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities. Together, we are seeking a Deputy Ward Manager (Senior Mental Health Nurse) (RMN) for their brand new, specialist male inpatient hospital for adults based in Harrow, London.
As a qualified Deputy Ward Manager / Senior Mental Health Nurse (RMN) you will ensure working age males in this mental health hospital receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork. The hospital has 26 beds, all patients are detained under the mental health act who have come from forensic or acute services.
Requirements
- A relevant nursing qualification (RMN or RNLD)
- A valid NMC registration with no restrictions
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- A minimum of two years of mental health experience
- Strong team-working skills
- A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
- A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
- A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
