An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Senior Nurse to join a fantastic private hospital in Tunbridge Wells. The hospital boasts excellent facilities including 2 operating theatres, a sterile services department, endoscopy suite, and a fully equipped diagnostic and imaging department. The hospital offers outpatient and physiotherapy services six days a week. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Nurse to join a friendly and dedicated surgical ward team, committed to high-quality care and patient-centered service.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Display effective management of clinical teams in a safe and caring environment
- Support the Ward Manager and Head of Clinical Services in healthcare team management
- Lead the development of knowledge, ideas, and work practices
- Develop and improve services
Who we’re looking for:
- Be NMC registered with no restrictions or conditions on your pin
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- Currently working in a Band 5 position
- Experience as a sister/senior nurse in a UK surgical unit
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an acute setting
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
