About the role: You will be working as a Senior Occupational Therapist and will be responsible for:
- Continuously assessing, evaluating, and reviewing objectives and desired outcomes in collaboration with the patient, carers, and multidisciplinary team.
- Having overall accountability for the planning and management of your own specialised caseload of patients.
- Undertaking therapy assessments.
- Providing therapeutic advice to patients, carers, and clinicians using evidence-based practice.
- Planning around discharging patients in the MDT.
- Liaising and providing feedback on referred patients.
- Providing training to other healthcare professionals.
About you:
- BSc (Hons) Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate professional development experience.
- Experience working at band 6 level or above.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Experience working with MDT is desirable.
- Previous experience working in an Outpatient Setting in OT.
- Evidence of decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated & able to motivate others.
