A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Rotational Clinical Pharmacist to join a highly reputable private hospital based in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. The pharmacy departments provide ward based, Dispensary and Aseptic Dispensing services to a range of general specialist areas. The hospital covers a variety of specialisms including General Medical, Surgical, Haematology, Oncology and Critical Care wards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Rotational Clinical Pharmacist to join an expanding, friendly and diverse pharmacy team. The role will involve interacting with patients across various departments and is a great way to expand upon your skills.
Duties and responsibilities
- Clinical Pharmacist duties across a variety of wards
- Investigate patients drug histories where appropriate
- Supervising pharmacist on rotation in the dispensary providing clinical checks of prescriptions to ensure legality, clinical accuracy, appropriateness and compliance with Policies
- Undertakes to assist in the clinical evaluations of new pharmaceutical products
- Participate in risk management audits
- Travel across different sites if required
- Participate in on-call rota
Who weβre looking for
- Registered Pharmacist
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- GPHC registration with no restrictions
- At least 1 years experience working as a Clinical Pharmacist in the UK
- Ideally hospital experience but not essential
- Certificate / Diploma / Masters Degree in Clinical Pharmacy desirable
- Medicines information experience would be advantageous
