Registered Nurse (RMN / RNLD) – Learning Disabilities Rehabilitation

Location: Cardiff, United Kingdom

Salaries:

  • Up to 2 years post Preceptorship: £41,000 per annum
  • 2+ years post Preceptorship: £44,000 per annum

Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours available – you can choose depending on your preference.

Shifts: Days only, Nights only can be considered; ideally, you would work mixed shifts on a rotational basis.

Summary: Appoint Healthcare partners with a leading provider supporting adults with mental health, learning disabilities, and brain injuries rehabilitation. We are seeking a newly qualified preceptorship nurse or experienced Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD or RMN), full or part-time, to join their Specialist Learning Disabilities Hospital near Cardiff. Service users are cared for in single-gender units based on their needs. As a registered nurse, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver positive outcomes for patients with learning disabilities and forensic histories, some with complex behaviours. The hospital is accessible from Cardiff city centre and features a learning disability / ASC-friendly environment.

Preceptorship: Support for newly qualified nurses through a comprehensive preceptorship program, with experienced staff mentoring.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Nursing Qualification (RMN or RNLD)
  • Valid NMC Registration or expecting PIN soon
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (British Passport or Biometric Card)
  • Motivated, flexible, caring, and compassionate
  • Commitment to high-quality care and evidence-based practice
