About the role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Theatre Nurse / Practitioner to work as an Orthopaedic Team Leader joining a highly reputable private hospital based in Norwich. The hospital has state of the art facilities, and this is an excellent opportunity for an Orthopaedic Team Leader to manage their friendly theatre team. The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for an experienced and motivated Orthopaedic Team Leader to join them. The service offers a range of services and procedures including orthopaedic, joint replacements, plastics, gynaecology, ENT and general surgery.

Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as part of the theatre team as an Orthopaedic Team Leader and responsible for the following;

  • Develop practice in the assessment of health and well-being needs
  • Develop practice in addressing individual’s health and well-being needs
  • Develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security
  • Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practice within the specialty of surgical care.
  • Plan, allocate, assess and provide feedback to team members.
  • Who we’re looking for

  • Be NMC/ HCPC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 2 years Theatre experience in orthopaedics in the UK
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Excellent communication skills
