About the role :

You will be working as an Occupational Health Nurse / Advisor and will be responsible for :

Responsibilities

  • Full Occupational Health Treatment service in line with the client contract
  • Wellbeing assessments, health promotion, advice and education and health surveillance
  • Safety critical medicals, travel health, travel assessments and vaccinations
  • Providing professional advice, support and guidance
  • Assessing new clients and fitness to work for the appropriate job role
  • Providing health surveillance
  • Supporting the Occupational Health Manager to advise, monitor and assess the clinical practice of the team

Qualifications

All applicants for the role of Occupational Health Nurse / Advisor must have the following;

  • Registered Nurse – valid NMC UK pin with no restrictions
  • Diploma or degree in Occupational Health
  • At least 2 years UK experience working in A&E / Intensive care in the UK
  • Experience working within an Occupational Health setting
  • Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislationExcellent communication skills
