About the role :
You will be working as an Occupational Health Nurse / Advisor and will be responsible for :
Responsibilities
- Full Occupational Health Treatment service in line with the client contract
- Wellbeing assessments, health promotion, advice and education and health surveillance
- Safety critical medicals, travel health, travel assessments and vaccinations
- Providing professional advice, support and guidance
- Assessing new clients and fitness to work for the appropriate job role
- Providing health surveillance
- Supporting the Occupational Health Manager to advise, monitor and assess the clinical practice of the team
Qualifications
All applicants for the role of Occupational Health Nurse / Advisor must have the following;
- Registered Nurse – valid NMC UK pin with no restrictions
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health
- At least 2 years UK experience working in A&E / Intensive care in the UK
- Experience working within an Occupational Health setting
- Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislationExcellent communication skills
