Summary

Appoint Healthcare are proud to be partner with an extremely reputable leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with neurological, mental health needs and learning disabilities. Together we are seeking a Consultant Neuro / Clinical Psychologist for their Neurological Centre in St Neots. As a member of the Senior Management team, the Clinical Psychologist will play a crucial role in the continuous development of this service collaborating with a MDT. The post holder will deliver strategic and clinical strategies, identify and develop new services for other neurological conditions, ensure all non-medical therapeutic approaches are underpinned by a conceptual model and ensure that their effectiveness is measured.

Requirements

  • BPS accredited psychology degree and HCPC approved Doctorate
  • UK HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Chartered member of BPS
  • Evidence of engagement in ABI networks (Brain Injury/Neuro)
  • Practical knowledge of using a full range of psychological theory models in a clinical setting
  • Post-doctoral level knowledge and application of research methodology, research design and complex, multivariate data analysis.
