Clinical Services Manager ( RMN )
Salary β Up to Β£45,000 per annum
Location β Reading, Berkshire
Hours β Permanent β Full Time hours
Shift Pattern β Mainly Monday to Friday 0900, with occasional weekend and/or night shifts to supervise night staff; participation in the on-call rota is expected.
Summary
Appoint Healthcare partners with a reputable national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs. We seek an experienced Senior Nurse or Clinical Services Manager to support individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions in a modern, purpose-built home with 13 en-suite bedrooms.
The Reading service is a complex rehabilitation facility for men and women with primary diagnoses of mental illness, including schizophrenia (treatment-resistant and schizoaffective disorder), depression, and anxiety. Secondary diagnoses may include substance misuse, OCD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, and Autism.
Requirements
- A relevant nursing qualification (RMN)
- A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- At least 2 years managerial experience within a care setting
- Minimum 2 years of eating disorders experience as a nurse in the UK
- Strong team-working skills
- Highly organized, able to perform under pressure
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a highly skilled, motivated workforce through recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Oversee staffing, budgets, materials, and equipment management.
- Foster effective multidisciplinary team relationships.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and legislation, meet quality standards, and achieve KPIs.
- Implement and evaluate clinical interventions and treatments via clinical governance and audits.
