This is a great opportunity to join a well-established organisation as a Finance Business Partner, supporting a key business unit and playing a central role in financial planning, reporting and decision-making.
This position would suit someone who is confident in building relationships, flexible to changing priorities, and passionate about improving the way finance supports the wider business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as the main finance partner for a business unit
- Provide analysis, insight and commercial guidance
- Producing monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentary for senior leaders
- Presenting financial results to senior stakeholders, including the Executive Team
- Preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Analysing financial and non-financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Supporting new initiatives, investments and commercial projects with financial expertise
- Driving process improvements and helping streamline reporting and controls
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring compliance with internal controls
- Supporting year-end audit requirements
- Contributing to the transition from IFS to Oracle
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or QBE with strong management accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build credible relationships at all levels
- Analytical mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence
- Flexible, resilient and comfortable working in a changing environment
- Experience improving processes or implementing efficiencies
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
