This role is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days per week in one of their offices which could be Leeds, Bradford or Wakefield so flexibility is key.
We are actively seeking Health and Social Care Tutor to join a leading, well established training provider. You will be responsible for guiding adult learners through their qualifications, Level 3 Certificate in Understanding the Principles of Dementia Care, Level 3 Certificate in Understanding the Care and Management of Diabetes and Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of End of Life Care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging online and face-to-face Health & Social Care training tailored to learner needs and curriculum standards
- Support learners through assessments, individual learning plans, and ongoing guidance to help them achieve qualifications and career goals
- Maintain accurate learner records, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with safeguarding, Prevent, equality, and inclusion policies
- Contribute to the development and improvement of Health & Social Care learning resources and programmes in line with sector standards and quality frameworks
Essential Requirements
- Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring
- Strong knowledge of Health & Social Care
- Level 2 qualifications in English, Maths, and ICT
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Understanding of safeguarding, equality, and diversity practices
Desirable Requirements
- Teaching qualification (AET, CET, DET, or equivalent)
- Experience delivering Health & Social Care qualifications
- Assessor qualification (A1 or equivalent)
- Knowledge of adult learner funding and quality frameworks
