A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established, family-run luxury retail business. This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, thrives in a hands-on finance environment, and can bring strong technical ability alongside a calm, collaborative approach. Experience using NetSuite system is beneficial.
You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and analysis, and ensuring the smooth running of core finance processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Manage bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Manage petty cash, expense claims, and corporate credit card reconciliations
- Support payroll processing and review payroll-related entries when required
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including management accounts and cost centre P&L
- Support budget preparation, monitoring variances and highlighting issues to management
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits
- Respond to finance queries
- Strong experience using NetSuite within a finance environment would be beneficial
- ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Experience within retail or product-based environments is beneficial but not essential
