Our client is a well-established, accountancy firm, providing quality accountancy and payroll services to a variety of clients. Due to growth, they are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team.

Purpose of the Management Accountant role:

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for running a client portfolio, providing them with accounting, tax and business advice.

Management Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation, finalisation, and review of financial statements for Limited Companies, Sole Traders
  • Responsible for the ownership and management of a client portfolio, primarily consisting of owner-managed businesses
  • Corporation tax and personal tax compliance and planning services and review of these returns/computations
  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Client facing role - being the main point of contact for these clients to resolve queries and assist with accounting matters

The Perfect Management Accountant Will Have the Following Requirements:

  • Talented, enthusiastic accountant, able to work with a variety of clients of different sizes from different industries
  • Experience of working in an accountancy role is essential

Qualifications Required for the Management Accountant:

  • AAT qualification or experience gained from working in a similar position
  • Working knowledge of FRS102 1A and FRS105, desirable
