ProsperoTeaching is working with a medium-sized, mixed primary school in London, UK and seeking a primary teacher to join the team in January 2027. Prospero Teaching is looking for an ideal Canadian-trained candidate to fill the slot.
This primary school is located within a 1-hour commute from Central London using public transport, has a relatively low cost of living and property rental prices are very reasonable. The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent subject knowledge in primary education
- Have experience of raising attainment in a challenging classroom environment

- Successfully manage classes and deal with challengingbehaviour
- Encourage students to reach their full potential
- Be patient and have a good sense ofhumour
Qualifications:
- Have a Bachelor of Education or equivalent, with good standing
- You hold the right to work and teach in the UK (UK Passport, Ancestry Visa, Spousal Visa or Youth Mobility Visa)
- Be eligible for QTS
- Have up-to-date Safeguarding training within the last year (Prospero offers accredited CPD training)
- Successfully undergo RCMP-certified criminal record checks
- Provide at least two professional teaching references covering the last two years
