Fully Remote Educational Psychologist to work on a bespoke piece of work to complete psychology advice for education, healthcare and needs assessments. Details are as follows:

  • To complete a minimum of 2 x assessments per month (4 days)
  • Offering £1,250 maximum per assessment (for each 2 day piece of work)
  • Budget can cover 18 completed assessments
  • Will require an IR3

Essential knowledge:

  • A broad understanding of issues surrounding general developments in psychological and educational assessment and intervention
  • Knowledge of both normal and abnormal development in childhood and adolescence (including the most commonly occurring conditions)
  • Knowledge of a range of approaches to intervention, as appropriate for use in schools and other everyday settings
  • Knowledge of legislation and procedures relating to assessment and provision for children with special educational needs

Essential experience and achievements:

  • Experience of work in relation to young people and children with special educational needs
  • Experience in using a range of psychological assessment and intervention techniques

Essential qualifications/professional memberships:

  • Honours degree in Psychology or equivalent recognised by British Psychological Society (BPS)
  • Postgraduate qualification (MSc. or Doctorate) incorporating professional training in educational psychology
  • Chartered or eligible for Chartered status with the British Psychological Society
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Health Professionals Council (HCPC)
