About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Tester to join our QA team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands‑on experience in software quality assurance within an agile development environment. You will be supported by senior testers and developers as you learn how to test software, identify bugs, and contribute to product improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases based on requirements and test plans.
- Identify, record, and track bugs using tools such as Jira or similar.
- Assist in preparing and updating test documentation.
- Participate in functional, regression, UI, and usability testing.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members in an agile workflow (scrums, stand‑ups).
- Verify bug fixes and re‑test to ensure issues are resolved.
- Provide clear, simple reporting on test outcomes.
- Learn and gradually contribute to basic automated test scripts (optional, depending on skill level).
